CHOU CHOU WITH TOMATO AND CHILLI
YOU WILL NEED:
- Pack of Food Works Fresh Fast Food Chou Chou
- Four large tomatoes, roasted and peeled
- Two cloves of garlic, chopped
- Two Tsp Olive oil
- Two Tsp Chopped onions
- One large chilli, chopped, remove seeds (Optional)
- 1/4 cup of cilantro
- 1/4 cup of water
- Salt to taste
Heat oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Add chopped onions and green chillies. Cook on medium heat until just soft. About 3 to 4 minutes. At the same time, blend roasted tomatoes and garlic until paste.
Add the tomato mixture and cayenne pepper, to the onions, and continue to cook for 3 minutes more.
Add the Chou Chou, the water and salt to taste, to your sauce and cover. Let cook for 15 minutes. Add chopped cilantro and let cook for another 3 to 5 minutes.
Add sprinkled cheese if you like, serve and enjoy
